La Mariseca is a good option for evening tapas or a day time coffee. They have table seating, bar seating and a nice terrace area too.
We tried a thick slice of their Cheese and ham Spanish omelette (tortilla de jamon york y queso) which looked better than it was.
Take a look at the bar and try anything that takes your fancy. They have plenty of tapas options, just tell, or point to, the ones you would like to try.
We had two coffees, a soft drink and one tapas for under five euros.

La Mariseca is one of the first places you’ll come across when walking down Calle Rua Mayor from Plaza Mayor.
If it’s too busy there are plenty of other cafes, bars and restaurants down this road.
